Our dirks have the grip shape of the 1770 period. The blade of the officer's dirk is 13 1/2" long and is more styled with a fuller running down a bit more the half the blade length, and the remaining portion double edged down to the tip. It has a knife and fork set that are kept in slashes in the scabbard, which has silver bands that give additional strength and beauty. The scabbard has a leather loop for mounting on a 2" belt. The grip is ebony with German silver hardware and fittings.
